Adopt a Mermaid Fundraiser.

4pm – 7pm
at: The Eagles Nest Restaurant, under the Tiki

Live Auction of 20 wall art Mermaids which are sponsored by local businesses who commission Island artists to paint and adorn them into fabulous works of art.

The event will be held at the Eagles Nest Restaurant, under the Tiki. This lovely outdoor setting will set the tone for a wonderful fun casual time. The bar will be open and a lighter fare menu offered if you would like.

Starting at 4pm there will be time to see and enjoy the 20 Mermaids on display. Make sure you arrive early, as thanks to our sponsors we will have a complimentary “Mermaid Punch” cocktail for you to enjoy as well as exciting door prizes being given away. There will be live music entertaining us with fabulous island blend music.

Also starting at 4pm we will have ‘Live Painting’ with 3 island artists showing us their skills at producing fabulous works of art in a 2 hour time frame. We will have the peoples choice awards so bring your cash $$ to vote for your favorite.

Tickets will be on sale for our 50:50 drawing and raffle items from our island businesses.

Kids of all ages can get creative in our ‘Mermaid Coloring Corner’ thruout the event.

5pm our island resident auctioneer, will take the microphone and start things rolling.

This great fundraiser highlights the islands fabulous artists and helps support Pine Island Businesses and the Calusa land Trust .

The completed mermaids will be on display prior to the event at:
Centennial Bank,
Eagles Nest Restaurant
Spots Ice Cream
and the Chamber of Commerce Welcome Center.
